About the role#
The Business Administration Intern provides hands-on support to help streamline operations at Archmill House. You will work alongside Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and project data remains accurate. This role offers exposure to construction operations and helps you build skills in project administration and cross-functional coordination.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update internal systems and databases like Procore, Business Central, and Concur.
- Support job costing by entering project details and hours into timesheets.
- Coordinate with Project and Site Managers to collect documentation, receipts, and project details.
- Process expense receipts and allocate costs to the correct projects.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and general data entry.
- Help manage office organization, supplies, and daily operational needs.
- Support various departments with administrative tasks and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program related to Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations, or Accounting.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Comfort working with new software and computer systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- A positive, reliable, and eager-to-learn attitude.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Ancaster, Ontario.
- You may need to visit job sites or manufacturing facilities, which requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Compensation is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
