About the role#
The Intern, Engineering - Pricing and Supply Chain analyzes supply chain opportunities to meet customer logistics needs. You will interpret cost, market, and value-added data to develop and execute pricing proposals. This role supports ArcBest business objectives and involves advising both internal and external customers on pricing and marketing strategies.
What you'll do#
- Communicate daily with nationwide sales teams to negotiate and administer pricing arrangements.
- Review customer accounts to identify changes in pricing, shipment handling, and operational procedures.
- Participate in special projects aimed at reducing costs and increasing revenue.
- Work within a team to meet departmental goals.
- Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field with a strong analytical background, such as Business Data Analytics.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with spreadsheets and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.
- Strong initiative, flexibility, and an aptitude for active learning.
- Ability to build interpersonal relationships and work well in a team.

- Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, averaging fewer than 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid hourly on a biweekly basis.
