About the role#
This student worker position supports the Fleet Services department. You will assist with administrative tasks, data management, and invoice processing to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires working in a team setting and maintaining a positive attitude.
What you'll do#
- Answer department phones and assist internal and external customers.
- Process daily worklogs, vehicle repair orders, and repair authorizations.
- Enter data and scan documents for reconciliation.
- Review trailer Federal Inspection logs for accuracy.
- Manage the repair process for trailer leak or damage claims.
- Process and approve invoices through the intranet workflow.
- Maintain fuel files and reconcile reports for the Accounting department.
- Review vendor statements and follow up on past due invoices.
- Handle mail distribution and support other department managers as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems.
- Strong initiative and an active approach to learning.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, averaging fewer than 30 hours per week. Typical hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional irregular hours.
- Compensation: Hourly, paid weekly.
