About the role#
This is a paid, part-time student worker position for Summer 2026 at the University of Tennessee. You will support food service and catering operations on-site in Knoxville.
What you'll do#
- Assist with food preparation.
- Serve food at events.
- Clean dining areas and kitchen facilities.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Provide customer service to guests.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in food service or catering.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, with particular relevance to Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Nutrition, Kinesiology, and Chemistry.
