About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position within the catering department at the University of Delaware for the Summer 2026 term. This role supports food service operations and event execution on campus.
What you'll do#
- Assist in daily food preparation and catering services.
- Set up and break down food service lines during events.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
- Provide customer service to students and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Delaware.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- This position is open to students across various disciplines, including Business Administration, Nutrition, and Civil Engineering.
