About the role#
This position offers students an opportunity to work in food service or catering on campus. You will assist with food preparation, maintain service areas, and interact directly with customers. We are looking for students who want to develop their service and social skills while working with our team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Set up workstations, including prep tables, service counters, and hot wells.
- Store food properly according to established standards.
- Serve food to customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Replenish food items and keep products stocked.
- Break down, clean, and sanitize workstations after service.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures for sanitation.
- Secure company assets during your shift.
What you'll need#
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills and a positive demeanor.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment as required.

- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: Open to students in Nutrition, Civil Engineering, and Business Administration.
