About the role#
This position supports the Downtown Thunderbird Pub and Gordon Commons in Phoenix. You will help maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff. This is a paid, full-time summer 2026 role.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment to ensure it stays in good working order.
- Follow specific procedures for the storage and disposal of trash.
- Submit work order requests to report maintenance concerns.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as required.
What you'll need#
- Ability to perform frequent physical tasks like lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling more than 50 lbs.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals and physical risks.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to wear required uniforms or personal protective equipment.
- This role is open to students in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, or Sociology.
