About the role#
As a Student Worker Barista, you will provide service and quality beverages to our customers. This position involves managing transactions, preparing drinks to brand standards, and keeping the coffee bar clean and organized. You will work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Operate the register and handle cash or credit card transactions.
- Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages.
- Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, including making deposits.
- Set up and break down the coffee bar and service stations.
- Clean and sanitize the work area to meet safety guidelines.
- Stock coolers, condiments, and grab and go items.
What you'll need#
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred.
- Ability to complete Food Handling Certification.
- Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
