About the role#
Café 1789 is hiring student food service workers for the Fall 2026 term at the University of North Carolina. This is a paid, part-time position requiring on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with food preparation and service tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all work areas and kitchen equipment.
- Provide customer service to guests.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines.
- Support the team with various daily food service operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of North Carolina.
- Ability to handle tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Preferred majors include Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, and Business Administration.
