About the role#
As a Banquet Supervisor Intern, you will support catering operations at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This role involves direct supervision of staff and coordination of rental equipment for events. You will assist in planning and executing catering services while ensuring brand standards are met across various locations.
What you'll do#
- Supervise catering operations, including event set-up, service, and breakdown.
- Manage event bookings, select and cost menu items, and handle pricing.
- Assist with hiring, staff discipline, and performance reviews.
- Participate in management team meetings and coordinate with other departments.
- Ensure all sanitation, organization, and safety standards are followed.
- Represent the company and client during meetings and events.
What you'll need#
- At least two years of operational experience in a hotel or banquet setting.
- Prior experience with event booking is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands, such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment as required.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or Human Resources.
