About the role#
The Operations Supervisor leads the day-to-day activities of the branch Teller-Unit. You will model superior customer service while ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves coaching staff, managing schedules, and supporting the Branch Manager with performance reviews and hiring. You will also ensure the team follows all internal policies and Federal regulations, including AML, BSA, and OFAC requirements.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate Teller staff to meet and exceed sales and service goals.
- Assign daily work tasks and provide coaching, training, and instruction to team members.
- Manage cash operations, including monitoring reserve cash, conducting monthly audits, and handling vault duties.
- Resolve complex client issues and provide transaction approvals.
- Perform Teller duties as needed and assist with ATM balancing.
- Interview potential new hires and assist in conducting performance appraisals.
- Offer bank products and services to customers based on their needs.
- Adhere to the company Code of Conduct at all times.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- At least 4 years of experience in bank operations or customer service.
- Prior experience in a bank supervisory role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Knowledge of banking floor operations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work weekends, extended hours, and travel to neighboring branches as needed.
