About the role#
The Apollo Opportunity Foundation (AOF) is seeking a Summer Analyst to contribute to its programs, events, and mission. This 10-week summer program provides full immersion into the team, offering an apprenticeship experience that includes mentoring, citizenship projects, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the AOF grantmaking process through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with non-profit partners across global regions to create employee engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate and plan engagement events between AOF grantees and employees.
- Organize and distribute volunteer collateral, such as t-shirts and hats, for events across offices.
- Draft internal and external communications, including organization profiles.
- Serve as the point person for the annual Changemakers program.
- Collect participation data to ensure compliance and capture metrics.
- Research virtual volunteer opportunities and create a menu of organizations for the AOF Volunteer Guidebook.
- Review competitor impact reports to provide recommendations for strengthening AOF reporting.
- Audit AOF brand assets and organize them into a central library.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation year of 2028.
- An excellent academic record.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact and community service via work experience, coursework, extracurriculars, or volunteer roles.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and track progress.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
