About the role#
The Sophomore Summer Analyst program is a 10-week opportunity for students graduating in 2029. You will work within small teams across various groups, including Credit, Private Equity, Hybrid Value, and Engineering. This role offers an apprenticeship experience where you will collaborate with junior and senior professionals on investment strategies and projects.
What you'll do#
- Partner with team members on projects and conduct company and industry due diligence.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of market trends and risk assessments.
- Monitor portfolio companies and evaluate potential acquisitions or exit options.
- Create investment committee materials and participate in committee meetings.
- Conduct financial modeling and stress test business projections.
- Coordinate with external advisors, including tax experts, lawyers, and consultants.
- Analyze business performance trends and assist with ad hoc team projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with a graduation date in 2029.
- A strong academic record and demonstrated interest in finance.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with quantitative analysis.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly in writing and through speech.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing demands.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics are preferred.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are available in New York, New York, El Segundo, California, and Austin, Texas.
- This is a paid position.
