About the role#
Apex Material Handling Corp is hiring an Accounting Intern for a three-month assignment. You will report to a Senior Accountant and assist the team with daily operations and month-end tasks. This position offers 15 to 25 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Record journal entries.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Help the team with various month-end close duties.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of US-GAAP and external audit requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
- Experience in Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
- The work is hybrid, requiring one day per week in the office.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
