About the role#
Anthro Energy is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to help design, improve, and document battery production processes. You will work on-site in Alameda, California, to support our manufacturing equipment and systems.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute equipment modification projects.
- Develop and standardize SOPs, work instructions, and recipes for manufacturing processes.
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Analyze process data to find ways to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.
- Collaborate with operations, equipment, and R&D teams to validate process changes.
- Document technical work and communicate updates to the team.
- Comply with safety and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or master's degree program for Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Interest in hands-on process development, automation, or manufacturing systems.
- Basic understanding of sensors, mechanical systems, and process control concepts.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
- Familiarity with technical documentation like SOPs and drawings.
- Experience with pneumatic or fluid systems, PLCs, or control logic is a plus.
- Ability to work with tools, fixtures, and lab equipment.
- Data analysis skills using Excel or Python.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
