About the role#
As an intern in the Construction, Disputes & Advisory practice, you will work with project leaders and experts on complex construction projects. You will develop analytical skills while assisting with project schedule, cost, productivity, and statistical analyses. This role offers exposure to client-facing work, helping to address challenges in planning, constructing, and resolving disputes for large-scale projects.
What you'll do#
- Gather data through document reviews and manage project databases.
- Analyze project schedule delays, cost records, productivity, change orders, and design issues.
- Use computer software to model schedules, contractor production rates, and project costs.
- Create high-quality work products and maintain strict quality control.
- Prepare materials for senior-level review.
- Support ongoing company and practice development efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Solid academic performance and a motivated, energetic attitude.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to adapt to multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Experience with Primavera scheduling tools and Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques is helpful but not required.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
