About the role#
As an intern in Hydro services Engineering, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on major hydroelectric projects. You will support service sales by helping develop technical offers, analyzing asset data, and preparing commercial proposals. This role provides direct exposure to the life cycle of hydroelectric facilities, including modernization, maintenance, and performance optimization.
What you'll do#
- Help prepare service offers by gathering technical data, costs, and schedules.
- Analyze customer needs by reviewing equipment history and performance reports.
- Draft commercial proposals, customer presentations, and follow-up documentation.
- Conduct market research on existing power plants, modernization opportunities, and upcoming bids.
- Support CRM management by updating contacts and tracking project opportunities.
- Create comparative tables, cost analyses, and technical summaries for account managers.
- Observe technical and commercial discussions in internal and external meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of a mechanical or electrical engineering program.
- Mechanical aptitude including conceptualization, 3D perception, and knowledge of mechanical connection components.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Motivation, initiative, and autonomy in your work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual proficiency.
