About the role#
Andersen Corporation is seeking a Sustainability Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This role provides hands-on experience within a corporate setting, focusing on product sustainability and environmental metrics. You will work on real business challenges that contribute to our sustainability goals.
What you'll do#
- Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of data for sustainability metrics, including energy use, GHG emissions, water, and waste.
- Map and analyze material flows across our operations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy and material usage.
- Support the creation of external-facing sustainability documentation and communications.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Research industry best practices and emerging trends in the field.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with life cycle assessments.
- Knowledge of green building frameworks such as LEED, WELL, Passive House, or the Living Building Challenge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Bayport, Minnesota.
- The pay range for this position is $22 to $27 per hour.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
