About the role#
The Amway Identity Solutions team builds the technology that allows customers and business owners to securely create accounts and access digital experiences. This includes managing logins, authentication, security tokens, and multi-factor authentication for web and mobile platforms. As an intern, you will work on real business solutions, including the transition of global markets to the NextGen platform. You will receive guidance while researching options and contributing to technical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop identity features or enhancements to assist global markets with the NextGen platform transition.
- Identify feature gaps and extend existing solutions to cover them.
- Research technical options and contribute to project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, including the use of AI tools for testing or development.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student who has completed their sophomore or junior year by the start of the internship.
- Pursuing a BS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Foundational software development experience through academic, personal, or team-based projects.
- Exposure to multiple stages of application development, such as designing, building, testing, or deploying.
- Natural curiosity and the ability to research independently.
- Comfort working with ambiguity.
- Preferred: Experience with full-stack development and using AI tools to solve technical problems or improve analysis.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship.
- The role is based in Ada Township, Michigan.
- You must be able to report in-person Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a remote optional day.
