About the role#
As a Software Testing Intern, you will join the team in Austin for the Summer 2027 term. This role focuses on supporting test strategies for server infrastructure within AI data center environments. You will gain exposure to server architectures, networking, and the reliability demands of AI and machine learning workloads while working alongside engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop test plans and debug data collection using GenAI tools.
- Define, develop, and execute test plans for server hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Bash to improve efficiency.
- Set up and maintain testbeds and infrastructure for continuous integration and testing.
- Share test findings, execution progress, and issues with mentors and team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with Linux operating systems like Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL and command-line tools.
- Experience using AI tools such as Gemini Code Assist, Glean, Claude Code, or Open AI Codex.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
