About the role#
The Social Commerce Planning & Operations Intern supports the Social Commerce team with planning, reporting, inventory tracking, SAP system uploads, and day-to-day operational coordination. This role focuses on TikTok Shop and emerging social commerce channels. You will gain hands-on experience in ecommerce operations, supply chain coordination, and business reporting while helping the team manage inventory and promotional execution.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accurate trackers and prepare weekly and monthly reporting inputs.
- Monitor inventory levels, sell-through, weeks of supply, stockout risk, and replenishment needs.
- Reconcile data across systems and perform data entry for reporting files, shipment documents, and invoice logs.
- Support day-to-day TikTok Shop operations, including product setup, content updates, pricing checks, and promotional execution.
- Assist with shipment tracking, inbound timing, and delivery issue documentation.
- Gather inputs from Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Operations, Brand, and agency partners.
- Identify risks or gaps that may impact inventory, fulfillment, or sales execution.
- Upload data to SAP and ensure submissions are accurate and timely.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Analytics, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
- Solid Excel knowledge, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review reports, identify discrepancies, and organize information clearly.
- Clear communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Prior internship, coursework, or project experience in ecommerce, operations, supply chain, or retail is preferred.
- Interest in social commerce, TikTok Shop, beauty, and consumer goods.
- Highly organized, reliable, and proactive approach to managing deadlines.
