About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the strategy, discovery, and delivery of digital products. You will work alongside product managers, engineers, designers, and data scientists to solve business and scientific challenges. The role focuses on turning complex requirements into scalable product capabilities that support our mission to serve patients.
What you'll do#
- Drive structured discovery for product opportunities by analyzing stakeholder needs, customer journeys, and business processes.
- Translate insights into artifacts including problem statements, personas, journey maps, user stories, and backlog recommendations.
- Support end-to-end delivery activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing, and launch preparation.
- Use qualitative and quantitative evidence to assess product performance and identify gaps in user experience.
- Facilitate working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and recommendations.
- Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic narratives by connecting user needs with technical feasibility.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years or older and hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or Ph.D. program, having completed the first year of study before the internship begins.
- Preference for candidates in a Master’s program with a concentration in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in one coding language (Python, Java, Scala, or SQL) and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience or coursework in Business Systems analysis, Agile/SCRUM, SDLC processes, database modeling, or cloud-based applications.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to operate independently across functional lines and with diverse customers.
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
