About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our distribution center to gain experience in supply chain operations. The program aims to develop future leaders by providing exposure to different business functions and management responsibilities. You will work closely with a mentor and present your findings to the leadership team at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various departments to understand supply chain functions.
- Assist in the analysis and development of business processes and supply chain metrics.
- Set and plan daily or weekly workloads for your department.
- Manage a team to meet specific goals.
- Organize and lead team meetings, such as pre-shift huddles or roundtables.
- Build relationships with hourly staff, peers, and senior leadership.
- Work on projects independently and manage your own time.
- Participate in required training sessions and internship events.
- Foster a culture that is inclusive, diverse, and safe.
- Work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Expected to graduate with a bachelor's degree within one year of the internship completion.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.
- Proven leadership experience in projects or people management during your academic career.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills for coaching, facilitation, and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
