About the role#
This 10-week summer internship at our Roanoke, Texas distribution center provides hands-on experience in a business-driven environment. You will work closely with a mentor to learn various supply chain functions, gain experience leading teams, and explore different business areas. The program aims to develop future supply chain leaders. At the end of the summer, you will present your accomplishments and findings to the leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Gain an understanding of supply chain disciplines and business operations.
- Assist in analyzing and developing supply chain metrics and business processes.
- Plan daily and weekly workloads to meet business priorities and manage a team to achieve goals.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, such as pre-shift huddles or roundtables.
- Build relationships with hourly team members, peers, and senior leadership.
- Manage projects and your own time without constant supervision.
- Participate in training, development sessions, and internship events.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and secure work culture.
- Rotate through different departments as trained to support business needs.
- Be flexible with your schedule, as our operations run 24/7 and may require early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Engineering, Operations/Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Management, or a related field.
- Graduation with a bachelor's degree within one year of completing the internship.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Proven leadership experience in projects or people management during your academic career.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A self-motivated attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks in an unstructured environment.
- Willingness to learn, take risks, and provide or receive constructive feedback.

- Location: Roanoke, Texas (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
