About the role#
As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will work with the Consumer Category Management team to gain hands-on experience in a professional business environment. You will support Associate Category Managers with administrative tasks, learn the category review process, and contribute to projects that support our business operations. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support new item ordering and tracking activities.
- Create, request, and track return authorizations.
- Request GNP product images for reporting agencies.
- Track contract status and handle related administrative follow-up.
- Partner with a lead Category Manager to learn the category review process.
- Attend supplier meetings to gain exposure to category management activities.
- Assist in creating category review documents and supporting materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing coursework in marketing, business administration, finance, accounting, or supply chain management.
- Preference for rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage administrative tasks and documentation accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Interest in category management, supplier relationships, and business operations.
- You must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
- Prior work experience in customer-facing fields is a plus, though no formal category management experience is required.
