About the role#
American University is hiring a Computer Science Teaching Assistant to support faculty and students within the Computer Science Department. This part-time position requires 5 hours of work per week and is open to currently enrolled students. You will coordinate with your assigned instructor to set a schedule and clarify specific expectations for your tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide feedback to the instructor to assist with the grading process.
- Design course assignments.
- Hold office hours to support students.
- Help with in-class labs.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the department.
