About the role#
American Gypsum offers a hands-on internship for those interested in a manufacturing environment. You will gain exposure to mining, quality control, environmental compliance, warehousing, and production. Your work will focus primarily on maintenance and electrical operations while you learn from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist the maintenance and electrical teams with daily tasks and supervised projects.
- Learn the fundamentals of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and electrical systems.
- Support operations across production, mining, and warehouse functions.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in all required training.
- Maintain accurate documentation for projects and inspections.
- Complete a final project or presentation based on your internship experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a technical, electrical, maintenance, or engineering program.
- A genuine interest in industrial maintenance and electrical systems.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to ask questions and work safely in an industrial setting.
- Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the role.
