About the role#
As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will join a 10-week summer program focused on protecting information systems, customer data, and digital assets. You will work within the Enterprise Technology Services organization to support security operations, architecture, and threat detection. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced teams to learn how security controls and development practices are implemented and improved.
What you'll do#
- Monitor security systems and events using logs, alerts, and various tools to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Triage and investigate security or operational issues to determine root causes and mitigation strategies.
- Support secure network, endpoint, identity, and access management activities under the guidance of peers.
- Assist with security documentation, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Partner with software development and product teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Must be pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Graduation date must fall between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including network, cloud, or application security.
- Interest in scripting or automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
