About the role#
This internship is part of the Global Commercial Services division at American Express. You will join a team focused on developing marketing strategies and distribution plans for business customers. This is a full-time summer 2027 program for graduate students.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to uncover insights.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to support marketing content development.
- Design ideas for marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Technology, Legal, and Compliance.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations to support decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time graduate degree program, specifically in Marketing or Business Administration.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
- Eligibility to work in the United States, as the company does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
