About the role#
The Graphic Design Intern role provides hands-on experience in a professional design setting within the retail fashion industry. You will work alongside our design team to build digital and print content that supports our marketing strategies.
What you'll do#
- Create graphics for social media, marketing collateral, website assets, and presentations.
- Brainstorm and contribute design ideas that align with our brand goals.
- Edit and retouch images to meet project requirements and maintain quality.
- Organize and manage design files and assets for the team.
- Stay current with design software, tools, and industry trends.
- Partner with the marketing and social teams to ensure designs communicate the intended message.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- A portfolio that shows your design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, and core design principles.
- Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- The term is for Winter 2027.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
- You must have a few days of open availability and be able to work 20-25 hours per week.
