About the role#
The Vow'd Merchandising Internship offers hands-on experience for individuals interested in the bridal and fashion industry. This role provides insight into daily operations, product selection, and the use of data analysis and trend forecasting to support buying decisions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing assortment plans and selecting product assortments.
- Collaborate with the buying team on store allocation and distribution processes.
- Manage the sample collection and gather samples for meetings.
- Support the buying team by tracking vendor sample deadlines.
- Act as a liaison between the Marketing and Ecommerce teams for product style-outs and sample management during photoshoots.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of purchase orders.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior, senior, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- A strong fashion sense and passion for products.
- Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative, cross-functional partnerships.
