About the role#
The Merchandising Buying Internship provides practical experience and industry knowledge for those pursuing a career in retail or fashion. You will work directly with the merchandising team to support day-to-day operations, contribute to the product selection process, and learn how market trends influence buying decisions.
What you'll do#
- Assist the merchandising team with daily business operations.
- Manage the sample collection and gather items for team meetings.
- Support the team with reporting tasks and the entry of purchase orders.
- Monitor current fashion trends and the competitive landscape.
- Facilitate communication between the internal team and the vendor community.
What you'll need#
- Currently an upcoming junior, senior, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong fashion sense and a genuine passion for product.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated with a positive, proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week with a few days of open availability.
