About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role operates on a rolling basis and requires on-site attendance. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Support team morale and facilitate frontline communication.
- Perform safety observations and report potential hazards.
- Update engineering, purchasing, and quality teams on project status.
- Maintain performance dashboards by tracking cycle times and downtime.
- Help investigate the root causes of defects and document corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and process mapping.
What you'll need#
- Ability to foster positive employee relations and engagement.
- Understanding of safety protocols and hazard reporting procedures.
- Communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
