About the role#
We are looking for a proactive Channel Marketing Intern to support our ResPro division. You will work closely with marketing managers, sales teams, and product management to drive engagement with our builder, dealer, and wholesale partners. This role offers hands-on experience with marketing programs, collateral development, and data reporting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in creating and fulfilling marketing collateral for builders, dealers, and wholesalers.
- Support day-to-day activities for key channel programs, including merchandising displays and rewards portals.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels for point-of-sale materials.
- Update and maintain marketing resource portals and form submissions.
- Contribute to the development of planograms, in-store displays, and other merchandising tools.
- Aid in the preparation of presentations, sales training tools, and price book updates.
- Help administer approval processes for business development funds and incentive programs.
- Support invoice, purchase order administration, and reconciliation activities.
- Pull data and prepare basic reports in Power BI or Excel for program performance reviews.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Drive process improvements to streamline workflows and increase team efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in channel marketing, B2B marketing, or consumer goods marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfort learning and using CRM tools, marketing resource portals, and basic analytics platforms like Power BI.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- A team-player mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Previous internship or project experience in marketing or merchandising is a plus.
