About the role#
This full-time, 10-week internship offers hands-on experience in warehouse operations. You will work directly with warehouse staff and leadership to understand our business processes and contribute to daily operations. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations and collaborate with staff to improve efficiency.
- Assist leadership with training, administrative tasks, and interview orientations.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily tasks, Waste Walks, and problem-solving exercises.
- Work closely with team members to build subject matter knowledge.
- Attend team meetings and company trainings.
- Prepare a final report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations for executive review.
- Maintain professionalism by meeting objectives and adhering to company guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a group and build positive relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Physical ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold storage environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods and frequently sit, bend, reach, grip, and walk.
- Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
