About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based at our Upper Midwest Division Support Center. You will gain direct experience with the various aspects of supply chain management that keep products moving from suppliers to our member retailers. This role is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime as needed.
What you'll do#
- Manage inventory levels to support product flow.
- Coordinate shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Optimize logistics to manage costs.
- Present your insights and findings to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Supply Chain Management major, with preference for junior or senior standing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.
- Initiative, a desire to learn, and the ability to follow directions.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to travel to Kansas City, MO for your final presentation.
