About the role#
The District Manager Internship offers hands-on experience working with leaders who manage multi-million-dollar retail businesses. You will gain insight into store operations and the company business model. This is a 10-week summer program consisting of 40 hours per week. Successful completion may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow a store manager to learn fundamental store operations.
- Demonstrate company Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Assist your trainer with administrative tasks including payroll, invoices, and memo verification.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and orientations.
- Conduct customer satisfaction walks and participate in store tours.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational areas for company executives.
- Assist with inventory, store resets, and store openings.
- Work with your team to build subject matter knowledge and improve store conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with store personnel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under strict deadlines.
- Skill in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Capacity to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Compensation: $28.00 per hour plus eligibility for overtime.
