About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience within the retail operations of ALDI. You will work alongside district managers to learn how they oversee multi-million dollar business units. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program. Successful completion may lead to full-time employment opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow store managers and manager trainees to learn the fundamentals of store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks including payroll, invoices, and hiring processes like interviews and orientations.
- Participate in inventory management and store resets. You may also take part in a grand opening.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about customer satisfaction.
- Prepare a report and presentation on an operational area for company executives.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain high professional standards through consistent attendance and meeting objectives on time.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow company policies and procedures.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks and working under strict deadlines.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a group.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Compensation: $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime.
