About the role#
We are hiring a Finance Intern to join our team in Sacramento. This is a full-time, paid position that offers exposure to financial operations within the construction industry. You will work on-site and support our team with financial reporting, audits, and daily accounting tasks.
What you'll do#
- Help prepare financial statements for our subsidiaries.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close procedures.
- Assist with internal audits and prepare work papers for corporate audits.
- Help with regulatory and compliance reporting.
- Oversee lease administration tasks.
- Review invoices to ensure accurate quantity, pricing, and coding before payment.
- Handle other financial duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Accounting or Finance, or you are a recent graduate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with customers, managers, and co-workers.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with office equipment like PCs, printers, and copiers.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus.
