About the role#
We are hiring an AP/AR Intern to support our financial operations in North Highlands. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site and assist our team with invoice processing and vendor management.
What you'll do#
- Scan, bind, and archive invoices.
- Inquire and post invoices for assigned locations.
- Check invoices for accuracy regarding quantity and pricing.
- Perform data entry and verify invoice details.
- Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoices by working with plants, vendors, and the merchandising department.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong math, reading, and writing skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional customer service manner.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn.
- At least one year of clerical experience in accounts payable is preferred.
