About the role#
This position supports the Albright Athletics department by assisting the sports information director and assistant director with daily operations. You will help promote and maintain data for athletes across all demographics within the NCAA Division III and Middle Atlantic Conference programs. This role involves a variety of tasks including social media management and webcasting support.
What you'll do#
- Manage and update Albright Athletics social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Create graphics for use on social media platforms.
- Design programs for games.
- Write press releases and recaps after games.
- Track and maintain team statistics, including using Statcrew and NCAA Genius software.
- Assist the director with daily administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student in good standing at Albright College.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks as assigned.
- While previous experience in a similar role is helpful, we will consider candidates who are eager to learn.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
