About the role#
This is a part-time internship for students currently enrolled in a pharmacy program. You will work on-site in a retail pharmacy setting to gain practical skills under the guidance of licensed pharmacists. This role involves direct patient interaction and participation in clinical services.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Advise customers and health care professionals on drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services such as immunizations, vaccinations, and disease state management.
- Help implement company initiatives to support pharmacy operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and cooperate with others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedule requirements.
