About the role#
As an HVAC Engineering Intern at Ahern, you will work within the engineering team at our corporate office in Fond du Lac. This role offers hands-on experience through mentorship from experienced engineers. You will gain exposure to real-world mechanical systems and contribute to projects that support our operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare detailed layouts for various HVAC projects under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
- Assist in the engineering oversight of HVAC system layouts and equipment selections.
- Provide technical information to the estimating team for bid packages.
- Participate in the review process for HVAC specification development and layout control strategies.
- Contribute engineering input into operations plans for system commissioning and start-up.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering program.
- Comfort working with MS Office programs.
- Interest in deepening your knowledge of mechanical systems.
