About the role#
As a Fire Systems Technician Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working directly with field technicians. This role involves working on special hazards systems to ensure fire protection equipment is installed and maintained correctly. You will work on-site in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and contribute to projects that protect lives and property.
What you'll do#
- Assist in performing inspections and tests on special hazards systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in system wiring and equipment.
- Ensure fire protection systems are installed properly.
- Interact with general contractors and other trades on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A commitment to working safely.
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
