About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Intern to join our team in Fond du Lac. This is a paid, rolling internship that offers hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will support regional projects by working directly with our design team.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with designers to layout mechanical systems for construction projects.
- Create drawings for State or City plan review processes.
- Develop drawings used for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems.
- Manage your workload to meet project deadlines and support field execution.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program for computer-aided drafting, mechanical design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Exposure to Revit software.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- The role is full-time during the summer and requires part-time availability during the school year.
- A housing stipend is available for those who need to relocate for the internship.
