About the role#
As a Fire Systems Technician Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on special hazards systems. You will work under the direct supervision of an experienced field technician to learn the trade and contribute to project success.
What you'll do#
- Assist in performing inspections and tests on special hazards systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of system wiring and equipment.
- Ensure proper installation of fire protection systems.
- Interact with general contractors and other trades on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A safety-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel.
