About the role#
As a Fire Systems Technician Intern, you will work directly with an experienced field technician to support the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. This role provides hands-on experience in the construction industry, focusing on technical tasks and daily coordination with other trades.
What you'll do#
- Assist with inspections and tests on special hazards systems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions related to equipment and system wiring.
- Help ensure fire protection systems are installed correctly.
- Interact with general contractors and other trades on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A commitment to safety in all work environments.
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
