About the role#
This is a part-time internship at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. You will join the COSMOS team to assist with the development and maintenance of the Mission Control Center and the Mission Training Center software.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and test software.
- Work with team members to identify and fix control system issues.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to track task progress.
- Provide user support after software releases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program.
- Basic knowledge of C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with Linux and common debugging tools.
Location & details#
- Location: Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas.
- Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday, day shift.
- Status: Part-time, paid position.
