About the role#
HII Technical Solutions is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to support the Minotaur mission management system. This role involves working on surveillance aircraft technology to help operators detect and track activity. You will work on-site in Hanover, Maryland.
What you'll do#
- Build and refine features for operational software.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Collaborate with engineers and other interns on project teams.
- Develop solutions using machine learning, AI, signal processing, and video analytics.
- Create proof-of-concept prototypes for emerging technologies.
- Improve and automate simulation, test, and verification workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Rising college junior status is preferred.
- Experience with software development in a Linux environment.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
