About the role#
Aecon is hiring a Project Coordinator Co-op to support heavy civil infrastructure projects. This position is based in North York, Ontario. You will work on-site and in the office, supporting project management with scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation. This is a full-time, paid co-op opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Provide management with data and project analysis.
- Track productivity, costs, and progress on the project.
- Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings.
- Assist in the coordination, preparation, and submission of as-built and design drawings.
- Gather field information and help prepare project bills of materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or technical college program for Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is a strong asset.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
